As Vice President of Recruitment & Executive Search, Karin currently leads a team of professionals focused on senior level, management and professional search and has been instrumental in positioning People First at the forefront of assessment, advanced candidate sourcing techniques and social media recruiting in Western Canada.
As a Registered Professional Recruiter, Karin is certified in Behavioural Based Interviewing, DISC profiling and TEIQUE Assessments through Thomas International. Responsible for all aspects of executive-level recruitment assignments, including interviewing, assessment and selection of finalist candidates, Karin’s timely delivery of services ensures quality assurance standards are met and exceeded for every assignment. A respected leader and mentor, Karin draws on her business acumen and leadership abilities to ensure every client and candidate receives exceptional service delivery.
Prior to joining People First, Karin held senior management roles with leading national and global recruitment firms. Her in-depth knowledge in all aspects of recruitment, including significant expertise in the development, implementation and management of high volume recruitment engagements ensured her success. Karin has authored whitepapers and blog articles discussing recruitment practices and challenges and is sought after for her expertise and guidance in this area.
