Karen gained HR experience in Winnipeg and abroad. Prior to joining People First, she worked with the Johnston Group. Earlier she was in Belgium with the Canadian delegation to the NATO Supreme Headquarters, completing several term positions there. With a strong search background, Karen has worked with clients in local, national, and international organizations in varying industries as well as in the not-for-profit sector. She has been a team member on several CEO, COO and EVP search assignments, as well as numerous mid-management searches.

Karen graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Human Resources Management.
