Karen has been with People First since early in 2003. Prior to joining the Company, she gained experience in Winnipeg and abroad. This included time in Belgium with the Canadian delegation to the NATO Supreme Headquarters, completing several term positions there. With a strong search background, Karen’s initial focus in the firm was in Executive Search, where she worked with clients in local, national, and international organizations in varying industries as well as in the not-for-profit sector. After transitioning to an operationally focused role in 2008, she now manages the firm's marketing efforts as well as a variety of strategic projects.

Karen graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Human Resources Management.
