Colleen has acquired more than 20 years of comprehensive human resources experience in large, medium-sized and global organizations.  She has held senior leadership positions at The North West Company, The Dufresne Group and Convergys Customer Management Canada and works with private, public and not-for-profit organizations in her current role at People First HR Services.

Colleen specializes in the areas of Compensation, Training & Development, Employee Relations as well as HR Systems and Processes.  She is well versed in the development of various Compensation Plans, Salary Administration, Job Evaluation, Performance Management tools, Policies & Procedures and the interpretation and execution of HR Legislation, all supported by proven expertise in the implementation of HR Best Practices.

Colleen has a reputation for helping organizations achieve their goals through her well-developed coaching skills and the ability to assist others in achieving a high standard of excellence in people management.  She is experienced in bringing the value of full human resource integration into the strategic direction and business plans of an organization.  She brings to every project strong leadership skills, energy and a straight-forward approach to providing expertise and guidance on all human resource related matters.

Colleen holds the designations of Canadian Human Resource Professional (CHRP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Certificate in Human Resource Management and has obtained a Certificate in Business Administration through Red River College.  She is an active member of the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba and WorldatWork.  She is also involved in the community through her volunteer work and serves as Past President for a youth football organization.
