Katie has an advanced undergraduate degree in Global Political Economy and a masters degree in Cultural Anthropology. Katie joins the PeopleFirst team with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. She is people focussed and has a kind and outgoing personality. Katie has five years of experience with the federal government in several departments, working both independently and as part of a team. Katie’s extensive research experience, attention to detail and strong work ethic position her well to provide helpful and caring support to clients.

On a personal note, Katie and her husband have a passion for traveling and staying active. Together they play on a soccer team and run in marathons across Canada and the United States. Katie stays up to date on her areas of research and is still well connected within the academic community.
