As a seasoned HR professional Gail has over 25 years senior management experience in a variety of medium and large companies in telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and financial services sectors.

 Prior to joining People First, Gail led a company-wide Employee Relations and Engagement team within a major international company.  In this role she focused on the alignment of employee relations, engagement and HR services and initiatives to the organization’s mission and strategic priorities. 

 Gail has senior level expertise designing and implementing programs that clearly define business partner and HR accountabilities and standards relating to employee relations, engagement and well-being. She is skilled at leading the development and sustainment of positive and proactive programs that support employees realizing their full performance potential and overall well-being; directing labour relations activities; providing advice and coaching support to business partners that resolve systemic issues; leading employees to achieve and exceed goals and high levels of excellence; directing and managing effective change management practices; providing consultative services to business partners designed to improve employee engagement, alignment and productivity; developing recruitment and retention strategies; and creating HR solutions for organizational improvement while developing and implementing sustainable action plans.
