Why should I work with People First?
When it comes to your career, we want you to know that you are dealing with someone you can trust. Know that we are acting in your best interest.

Our goal is to find the best candidates for our clients by looking at candidate’s qualifications, experience and capabilities. We best serve our clients by making sure you are comfortable with and excited by the opportunity being presented.

We would not place you anywhere that we believe is not a good match for your talents, skill set and interests.

Finally, working with a recruiter increases your access to additional job opportunities. Many of our clients work exclusively with People First when looking to fill new positions within their organizations.

Is there a fee for your recruiting service?
No, there is never a fee charged to our candidates.  People First works on behalf of an organization to recruit, screen and refer potential candidates for available positions within their company.

Are you a temporary placement firm?
No, we fill permanent and term contract positions only.

How do I know where my resume is being sent?
You will work with a recruiting consultant to share your expectations concerning the position and the organization(s) you wish to be presented to. We will seek your consent prior to your resume and related information being submitted to any organization.

How long will my resume remain on file with People First HR Services?
We will keep your resume in our database indefinitely unless you request your resume to be deleted from our database.

What happens after I have submitted my resume?
Within about a week of submitting your resume, you will get a reply from one of our consultants. They may have a couple of basic questions about where you are in your career now and what direction you want to take next.

If we believe you might be a good fit to an open job order, and you are interested in the position, we will follow up with an interview. At this point in the process, we may also perform background checks and reference checks. Depending on the position, we may ask you to complete an assessment of your skills in a certain area for the client company (i.e. MS Office proficiency assessment). If you are a good fit with the position and company, we will send your details to our client, and if they see the fit. If they do, we will coordinate an interview.
